Accepting responsibility comes naturally to us.

We do a great deal for others.

The doctors of the paediatric orthopaedics centre regularly operated free on children who have suffered great misfortune in countries such as Afghanistan or Peru. In addition, our own Paediatric Orthopaedics Support Association in Munich (Förderverein Kinderorthopädie München) was started, which helps with the funding of aids and therapies not paid for by the health insurance funds, arrange contacts and creates forums and exchange opportunities. We also show our social commitment in sport for the disabled, where the athletes of the German Paralympics alpine skiing team are looked after and supported. For example, the Septic and Reconstructive Medicine Centre donated the proceeds from the 1st Symposiums for Septic Trauma Surgery and Orthopaedics 2008 to the Paralympics skiing team.
