Our patient services employees welcome you from Monday to Thursday from 07.30 until 17.00 and on Friday from 07.30 until 13.00. All admissions formalities are dealt with here. If you are admitted at the weekend or on a public holiday, the initial admissions formalities will be dealt with by the nursing personnel and supplemented by the patients service team on the following workday.



We can prescribe orthopaedic aids which you require after an inpatient stay for all our patients, regardless of their insurance status. The connected clinic orthopaedic workshop generally supplies these during your stay in the clinic.

Cafeteria and "Schön Café".

The Schön Café is located on the ground floor near the reception. Here you can buy drinks, small snacks, cakes, gifts and useful everyday things. Opening times: Monday to Friday from 08.00 to 18.00, Public Holidays from 13.00 to 18.00



On request, you will be issued with certification of your in-patient hospital stay from your ward. Please request the necessary documents 1 - 2 days before you are discharged.


Church/Clinic pastoral care.

You are welcome to take part in our Sunday service at 10.45. The chapel is on the 3rd floor of the old building. The chapel also invites you to spend some time to pray or for quiet contemplation outside the service hours.



You are discharged in close consultation with the doctor responsible for you. They decide when you are discharged and informs you of the planned subsequent treatment. Please vacate your room by 11.00 at the latest on your day of departure so that we can prepare the room for the next patient.



A water dispenser is available on your ward and can be used free of charge. Furthermore, we also offer different types of tea, also free of charge, which are located on the trolley in the recreation room of your ward. Other drinks are available in the Schön Café.



Plant earth can be a bacteria carrier. For this reason, potted plants are generally not permitted in patients' rooms. There are vases on your ward for cut flowers.



We have a selection of hairdresser, chiropodist and cosmetic addresses at the reception for you. If you wish they will of course visit you in the clinic.



Wireless LAN is available in the Schön Café. If you have a notebook with wireless LAN connectivity (requirement: German or English version of Windows XP), you can purchase a wireless LAN card in the Schön Café in order to dial in and use the internet.



Employees of the clinic are available to help foreign language patients who need help with translation. Please contact the nursing staff if necessary.



You can lend books on your ward. Every Wednesday, a voluntary employee will visit your ward from around 10.30. Please remember to return the loaned books to the nursing staff before you are discharged.



You will receive the current weekly menu when you arrive. You can choose between three set meals for lunch and two set meals in the evening. Please let the nursing staff know if you have any food allergies so that you can keep to your appropriate diet.



In your own interest, medicines should not be taken without consulting the ward doctor. Possible incompatibilities could otherwise substantially impair the healing success of your treatment. You should inform the nursing staff of medicines taken to date on being admitted.


Mobile phones.

The transmitted power of a mobile phone can affect medical equipment. For your safety, you are therefore not permitted to use a mobile phone inside the clinic area.



You and your visitors can park in our underground car park for a charge. Use the following link to find out about the opening times and the tariffs.



You can hand in letters for posting for a charge at the reception. A letter box is located nor far from the main entrance in Harlachinger Straße. Incoming post is issued through your ward.



So that we can continually improve our services we ask you at the end of your stay to fill out the "About your Stay in the Clinic Questionnaire". You can hand the form into the nursing staff or throw it in the letterbox provided on your ward.



Our reception is manned from 6.00 to 21.45. At the reception you can purchase headphones for TV/radio and phone cards for the phone in your room or the public payphone. If necessary, you can obtain small amounts of cash with your EC card from the reception.



Out of consideration of other patients and their visitors, smoking is not permitted in the clinic. We have set up a smoking pavilion in our clinic park.



Please lock cash and valuables in the cupboard in your room. You can also deposit money and valuables free of charge in the safe in the reception.



There are no fixed visiting times in our clinic. However, we ask you respect the needs of your fellow patients if you are sharing a room. Do not receive visits if you or your co-patient in your room are undergoing medical, nursing or therapeutic treatment or have to rest after an operation. Night-time rest starts from 22.00, visits are unfortunately not permitted after this time.
