Spinal surgery. Medical Care
Treatment from slipped disc to osteoporosis.
Before a therapy can be defined and initiated, the diagnosis of the underlying disease is paramount. With the whole spectrum of diagnostic possibilities we are able to find the reason for your spine problem.
We are specialized in the treatment of acute and chronic degenerative diseases, injuries, infections or tumors of your cervical, thoracic or lumbar spine. In these areas we can offer all available and internationally recommended state-of-the-art treatment, both conservative as well as surgical measures, which help to adress your spine problem. With all our interventions the focus is on minimally or less-invasive procedures to enable you to have a shorter in-patient stay and a faster rehabilitation and return to normal life.
Expertise and many years of experience in spinal surgery.
Surgical interventions are often necessary if pain relief or healing cannot be achieved with non-surgical methods. The dominant premise of any type of spine surgery is to achieve the therapeutic goal with the least invasive type of procedure. Our specialists are proven experts and use modern, up-to-date and innovative surgical techniques which included solutions for complicated and complex spine problems.
Minimally invasive surgery.
Particular specialisation of our work includes microsurgery, endoscopic surgery and other minimally invasive techniques. With these tissue sparing surgical techniques by means of small incisions, operations, which previously led to severe scarring and corresponding prolonged post-operative treatment periods, can be performed in a less-invasive and safer way. This means patients are fully capable of actively returning to their everyday life far faster than before.

The latest technologies. Maximum safety for our patients
The operating theatres of the spine center are on an international standard and are equipped with the latest technology. The steps of surgery are precisely planned before the intervention. In case of microsurgical operations, up to 40-fold magnifications are used, which means that all structures are clearly visualised and minimally invasive surgery is possible. By using intra-operative computer-assisted navigation, screws , cages and plates can be positioned with maximum precision. Operations therefore become considerably safer for patients.
