Sports injuries are frequently complex. We provide interdisciplinary treatment.

Optimum care for amateur, competitive and top-level and professional sportspersons requires highly specific and organ-based expertise. The sub-specialisation of our clinic enables contact for each sportsperson with a competent contact for their specific complaint or injuries. Five special departments are available to find the individual best solution to every problem.

Comprehensive diagnostics and individual therapy

Comprehensive diagnostics is decisive for success of the therapy.

Along with primary diagnosis which is performed by our skilled sports medicine colleagues during the outpatient consultation, you can also make use of all the methods of imaging diagnosis provided by us (magnetic resonance tomography, 3-D computer tomography). This enables the depiction of all sports injuries and their consequences in detail and is prerequisite for strategic therapy planning. Internal medicine and cardio-pulmonary diagnosis is performed in close cooperation with the Chair for Preventive and Rehabilitative Sports Medicine of the Medical University Clinic of the Technical University in Munich.

We are FIFA Medical Centre of Excellence

The Orthopädische Klinik München–Harlaching was accredited in November 2007, as the first German clinic to be accredited by FIFA as a FIFA Medical Centre of Excellence. It is therefore one of 10 centres worldwide which have fulfilled the hard standards and assessment criteria of FIFA.

Official medical centre of the Bavarian Olympic support centre

We are the medical centre of the Bavarian Olympic support centre

Since January 2006, the Schön Klinik München Harlaching has been the official medical centre of the Bavarian Olympic Support Centre (OSP). At present, more than 25 top athletes, including Olympic champions, World and European Champions are in our acute medical care.
