Interdisciplinary treatment is a plus for our patients.

The artificial implants we use in orthopaedic surgery make daily life easier for our patients.

The artificial implants we use in orthopaedic surgery make daily life easier for our patients.

Our patients, who come to Bad Aibling from all over Germany and Europe, benefit from the proven and coordinated treatment concepts devised by the team of orthopaedic specialists at Harthausen.

Resume mobility with minimally invasive procedures in our Joint Center.

Our doctors are specialised in minimally invasive and arthroscopic surgeries. For example, artificial joints (hip-, knee- or shoulder replacement) are implanted through very small incisions and with minimal damage to tissue. For the patient, this not only means less pain, but also a faster recovery and return to normal life.

One source for your care in the Joint Center.

The greatest advantage of the Schön Klinik Harthausen is the in-house rehabilitation which immediately follows the inpatient postoperative care. There is no need to go anywhere else and what's more, you remain in the hands of the same therapists and in direct contact with the orthopaedics at Harthausen.

Our broad range of orthopaedic surgical services helps ensure a quick recovery.

Most sports injuries of the knee, shoulder, ankle or hip joints are treated by arthroscopy. In addition to injuries to the cruciate ligaments, transplantation of cartilage or menisci, treatment of shoulder instability and torn rotator cuff or hip arthroscopies, the doctors in Harthausen also specialise in the correction of malalignment of the knee- and hip joint.

A highlight of the clinic: Corrective osteotomies of the knee joint.

If the knee is malaligned, a corrective osteotomies will help restore proper alignment in the leg.

If the knee is malaligned, a corrective osteotomies will help restore proper alignment in the leg.

The procedure known as corrective osteotomy of the knee is an alternative treatment of unilateral arthrosis of the knee and is one of the clinic's highlights. After the relatively short inpatient stay, patients who just underwent surgery receive care that includes all available modern methods, such as CPM (continuous passive motion machines), orthopaedic braces, muscle stimulation equipment and nutritional supplements. The outpatient rehabilitation can also take place at home in order to optimise recovery.
