our specialist team provides the highest standards of treatment for neurological disorders and back pain. Our primary neurological specialisations are the so-called motor disorders (e.g.Parkinson's disease) and seizures (e.g. epilepsy). For patients with these conditions we also offer additional consultations in our Surgical Treatment Centre. We use all of the modern diagnostic and therapy procedures, such as deep brain stimulation (DBS) for the treatment of Parkinson's disease, at our Neurology Clinic. Another of our specialisations is the so-called "multimodal" pain therapy. This is particularly used in the treatment of chronic back pain, as well as for other painful conditions such as CRPS (complex regional pain syndrome) and neuropathies (pains in the nerves). By working in close collaboration with our colleagues in the Clinics for Neurosurgery and Spinal Surgery we are able to provide all forms of therapy under one roof.
