in cardiac surgery clinic we perform all types of cardiac surgery for adult patients (with the exception of heart transplants).

Our specialisations are bypass and cardiac valve surgery using minimally invasive techniques and, above all, conservation surgery for cardiac valves. By following interdisciplinary treatment plans in collaboration with our colleagues in the Clinics of Vascular Surgery, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, Spinal Surgery, Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation Medicine, the Schön Klinik Vogtareuth is able to provide wholistic care for our patients, from initial admission right through to final rehabilitation in the patient's own home. Our wholistic care program for patients requiring cardiac surgery in a combined cardiac and vascular surgery treatment centre is the first of its kind and is so far unique in Germany. Our international team of cardiac surgery specialists uses the most modern and up to date surgical techniques.
