In order to maximise safety, prevent pain, avoid anxiety and ensure comfort before, during and after surgery, the Schön Klinik Vogtareuth has over 40 anaesthesiologists, as well as 60 nurse anaesthetists and intensive care nurses available to provide specialist care in their field.
Doctors specialising in anaesthesiology undergo at least 5 - 6 years of advanced training after medical school, while nurse anaesthetists undergo another two years of training after their nursing examination.
