Psychiatry. Psychotherapy. Elements of our Therapy

Proven therapeutic components. Consolidated in individual concepts.

Our therapies are all based on similar components, but are individually designed for each patient according to their illness and the therapeutic requirements. Aside from attentive therapy for physical symptoms, which our doctors will initiate during their regular visits, our treatment concepts involve the following elements:

The therapist as trusty companion during your entire stay.

A trusting relationship with your therapist.

A trusting relationship with your therapist.

Upon admission, a therapeutic person of reference will be assigned to you as a caring companion to you during your entire stay. He or she will be a doctor or psychologist trained in psychotherapy, and will develop a treatment plan for you tailored to your individual needs. Your regular individual therapies will be held with this therapist, at which times the treatment plan will be adjusted in line with your progress.

Individual psychotherapy. Solving difficulties and conflicts.

During routine individual consultations, the therapist will analyse your individual difficulties and conflicts. This psychotherapeutic approach is aimed at making specific changes to negative behavioural and cognitive patterns. The therapist will provide you with detailed information on your specific condition so that you can better comprehend the correlations between your thoughts, emotions and behaviour. Working with you closely during the consultations, the therapist will develop a specific concept with you, outlining strategies for managing your illness.

Stress management. Learning to relax. Useful techniques.

Finding ways to alter the factors which cause distress.

Finding ways to alter the factors which cause distress.

Working out strategies for stress management is an important part of therapy in many psychosomatic diseases. In individual and group discussions, you as the patient can identify the factors which are causing you stress. You can learn how to alter cognitive and behavioural patterns which are always causing you distress. All our patients are fully trained in the practice of relaxation.

Further therapeutic elements.
