Radiology. Nuclear Medicine. Specialisations

See more, identify more.

At the heart of our work is our focus on the patient and his/her health. The spectrum of modern radiology and nuclear medicine with it highly-specialised imaging allows us to approach medical questions and clinical problems in the best possible way. The selection and evaluation of examinations is based on the latest status of knowledge from medical and scientific research and development. The doctors' work is done in close cooperation with the clinical partner whereby the personal care of the patients is always top priority.

The diagnostic options in Radiology and Nuclear Medicine

  • Nuclear spin tomography of all regions of the body, especially the joints, Neuroradiology, soft tissue and organs of the abdominal cavity
    - MR of the heart and the major thoracic vessels
    - MR angiography of all regions of the body incl.  whole body angiography
    - whole body examinations to search for tumours and metastases
    - Examinations of the prostate gland incl. spectroscopy
  •   Multi slice computed tomography for ultra rapid and high resolution imaging of all regions of the body
    - interventional radiology, e.g. CT-guided tissue sampling
    - 3 D reconstructions
    - virtual coloscopy (examination of the colon)
    - CT angiography
    - non-invasive diagnostics of arteriosclerosis of the coronary vessels
    - bone density determinations
    - Dentascan for implantology in dental medicine

  •   Nuclear medicine
    - Examinations of all regions of the body using planar imaging technology and tomography (SPECT), especially for problems relating to
    - endocrinology(e.g. thyroid gland)
    - cardiology (e.g. myocardscintigraphy)
    - Oncology
    - Osteology (e.g. skeletal scintigraphy)
    - Diagnostics for inflammation (e.g. leukocyte scintigraphy)
    - Pulmonology (e.g. lung perfusion,   lung ventilation)

  •  Digital subtraction angiography DSA

  • Conventional X-ray diagnostics

  • Sonography
    - Parenchymatous organs (e.g. upper abdomen, mammary gland)
    - thyroid gland
