Certified quality of the Schön Kliniken

Our company philosophy is based on guaranteeing and providing continuous improvement in quality. Most of the group's hospitals and the commercial headquarters are certified according to the European norm DIN ISO 9001. Our target is a continuous improvement of the level of treatment, the organisation and treatment processes within the framework of a problem-free care optimised to the patient.

Quality Representative & Quality Manager

All of the Schön Kliniken staff take care to maintain the quality of the services they provide. However, every clinic also has employees that are especially responsible for the different aspects of quality.

For example, every clinic has a Quality Representative. The Quality Representative is responsible for the quality of the medical services supplied. Each quality manager is selected from the management positions (Consultant, Nursing Manager, Speciality Registrar, Therapy Manager) and is, as a rule, a full-time employee in patient care. They have all gone through extra training in quality management and respective to each hospital, are relieved from normal duties for the interests of providing quality management.

Alongside the Quality Representative, every clinic has a Quality Manager. The quality manager is responsible for the quality management in the strictest sense and takes care of special quality management tasks such as, certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001.

The Quality Report

To make our quality more transparent, we have created a new quality report format. With clearly laid out pictures and texts we are able to present the medical quality in a comprehensible way.

The statutory report section 137 Schön Klinik Bad Aibling

In order to ensure transparency regarding the quality of a hospital for patients, cost bearers and referring health professionals, the legislature decided that all clinics in Germany must publish a quality report every 2 years.
